I’ve been doing a lot of knitting lately, and that is all I’ve been talking about…But today I pulled out the sewing machine! I made a pot holder. I took photos for a tutorial as I made it, so I’ll be adding that, probably Monday. I can’t do it today (which it’s really not today, as it’s 1:16am, making it today, but I have to go to bed before it really becomes today), because I have my cousins and a friend coming over for a knitting party!! I’m excited, knitting parties are so much fun. I got a lot accomplished the last time.
So for now, here is a picture of my simple little pot holder. It is very thick, allowing time for you to pull out the cookies, and take them off the pan, even if that pan is the stoneware that holds heat really well, and even if you hold the pan in your hand the whole time you take the cookies off instead of putting the pan on the stove top (which is good because in my house there are often pans left from dinner on the stove top when I want to make cookies, and who wants to wash dishes just so they can have some yummy cookies….oh, not me, by the way).

Just stumbled upon this – it’s oh-so pretty!!
Thank you so much Annarella! That’s a neat name, by the way.
