Today many of our town farms were open to the public. We went to several of them, and had a delightful day! I found some great places that I didn’t even know existed in Barrington.
There is an Alpaca farm that has a spinning mill, where fibers are spun, by machine, on site. [...]

I finished the sweater. I’m very pleased with it. I added the puffy rounded collar because I thought it lacked something. I really like it.

I’m going to make buttons for it. I started playing around in the studio tonight. This is what I made. I plan on making more time [...]

Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday!  What a fun thing to find when I checked in today!
Rain.  Yuck.  So no trip to the farm…it will save for another summer day that it doesn’t rain. (When we go, Sara, I will say Hi to your doggie…whatever they named him!)  We went to [...]

Today was the first day of the town farmer’s market. It was a little slow, but that’s expected for the first day, in the beginning of the season. [...]

Today is the longest day of the year, and the first day of Summer! The Radishes were ready to celebrate today…

Aren’t they beautiful! We may try making the Radish Greens soup, after Dad enjoys the little fiery red globes in his salad of fresh picked greens tomorrow. I found two that had [...]

I’ve never seen the point in professional sports. I don’t understand the need to pay adults to play games, while people watch. I don’t understand the value we place on entertainers, in general.
I live in New England, and we have some great sports teams at this point in history. The Red Sox [...]
