Have you put your wraparound dress pattern online? Is there a site that offers the bonnet pattern free?

Thank you.

I think I decided against it, anyway -- I think double sleeves on a fitted knit might not be very comfortable. I'll just double the parts that wrap, and maybe the upper back, so as not to have to do facings or binding.

I'm not sure how it would work with sleeves, I didn't try that. They way I figured out the puzzle was to do a lot of pinning and some basting, so I could easily pull out if what I thought would work did not. So I would say give it a try with some muslin or cheap fabric and do some pinning and see what you get. I wish I could give you a definitive answer, but the sleeves will effect it somehow, I'm sure, I just don't know how.

I have a long sleeved wrap top that I want to make for myself, and I'm wondering if it's possible to make it reversible.

I looked around online and found your post -- thank you for posting the tutorial and all the great pictures!

At the step, "Lay one on top of the other, and stitch inside
and outside together at arm holes, with right
sides facing." I wonder if I first sew the unseamed sleeves onto each top, then would I stitch the inside and outside pieces together around the sleeve edge?

If you have any idea if that would work or not, I'd appreciate hearing from you!

I agree, a lot of children's books are crap. I've started sifting through the ones they pull from the shelves before we check them out. I can't be bothered with reading the terrible ones when great ones do exist.

Oh I signed up for the lecture as well. I may think about locating a sitter and seeing about bringing the husband along. We really want to raise chickens, but we're not sure if it's legal where we are. I'll be blogging about the lecture soon as well, glad to see you're getting the word out as well.

You and Mini look great!
